So if i were to remove the hard drive bays in the corsair 780t case where would i end up putting the hard drive, i've seen some people without the bays and i wasn't sure how they did it.

Hey there, Enzim8.

According to the case's specs there should be quite a few HDD bays (Case Drive Bays (x2) 5.25in; (x3) 2.5in; (x6) Combo 3.5in/2.5in). If it turns out that for some reason you don't have the drive bays you should be able to get a hard drive kit with HDD trays, although this should not be necessary in my opinion. It would be best to contact the case manufacturer or the reseller you got it from and ask for more info on where to get one.

Hope that helps.
