Hello, I understand that questions like this have been asked and answered, however, I thought I would ask anyway. I have an Alienware x51 and I understand that it has an m-iTX motherboard. I am wanting to transfer the components of it to a new case just so I can more easily upgrade in the future. My plan is to upgrade to a GTX 970 in the future but for now I just want it in a new case. The current power supply will not transfer over due to the fact that it is a weird external power brick. So what I am saying is that I need a good case and PSU for an Alienware x51 r2. I have picked out the following and I would like to know if they would work, or if anyone knew of better options. Thanks a lot guys!

Case:

PSU:

Just so you have them here are my current specs.
CPU: Intel Core i5 4430 @ 3.00GHz
RAM: 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz
GPU: 1023MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 645
Storage: 931GB Seagate ST1000DM ST1000DM003-1CH1 SCSI Disk Device (SATA)

No worries. It happens all the time. The PSU is definitely one spot where the 'brand' rarely matters.
Most people (at least people interested in computers) know the Corsair brand and assume it's decent, whereas the specific model is actually what's relevant. Corsair, like most PSUs "brands" sell good, bad & outright junk PSUs.

On the flip side, few people know of brands like SeaSonic, but they're one of the only manufacturer's who don't have a 'junk' model.

It can totally be a pain, good catch. OP, it's not impossible to use a non-modular PSU in there so you don't have to worry about it too much. For an easy life though, superninja makes a pretty good point.

There is the M12II for $70 at the moment, which is also a quality unit, and modular. An extra $5 and it just makes life a little easier.

Thank you very much, this is my first modification or building of a computer, is there anything else that I should take into consideration?
