Can the GA-P61A-D3 mobo support 16GB of RAM?

Hi everyone, i was thinking about upgrading my PC, adding more RAM to be specific.. currently i have a 4GB x 4GB Kingston RAMs, so i was wondering if my motherboard (GA-P61A-D3 - rev. 2.0) would support adding a 8GB x 8GB (16 in total) instead?

It does look like the GA-P61A D3 can support a maximum of 16GB RAM.

Thanks mate for trying to help, i tried to look around at the official website and the only thing that i was able to find was this: http://download.gigabyte.asia/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_ga-p61a-d3_v2.x.pdf
and as you can see, there is no mention of 8GB RAM/slot...

The H61 chipset based "GA-P61A-D3" board definitely supports 16 GB.. See Official Support site:

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4074#sp

Under Memory, one can clearly see: "2 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory"
