I Have had my laptop for about 3ish years now, and didn't use it for about a 1 year may 2015 to january 2016 and about a week or two ago my wifi stopped working and I couldn't turn the wifi on or off. it stopped working about a day after I got an update for my computer, and about three days after I installed google chrome on my computer. I have tried restarting my computer/I turned it off for about 5 minutes and then turned it back on again and I was still unable to turn the wifi on or off, even when I had air plane on or off. My computer is a ASUS T100 10-Inch Laptop with window 8 I think.

Solution
Try updating your bios with the ASUS live update utility then reinstalling your wireless drivers from the support page. Otherwise since it has been awhile since you have used it you can always do a factory reset. Just hold down shift as you are clicking on reset. This will give you the advanced options in order to do so. Let us know!
