Battery is stuck at 86%, says it is charging, but unplugging the charger will shutdown the computer.

I have an NE56R Gateway laptop. Battery drained fully and when recharging it takes 6-7 hrs just to increase 1%. Now it stuck at 86% and battery indicator says plugged in, charging. When I unplug the charging chord, laptop will automatically shutdown immediately...

Looks like its time to replace the battery. Do you have a known good spare to test with?

Thnks for your reply. But I dn't have any thing to test with. Recently I contacted their tech support team, they said its a Windows10 OS problem. I have tried everything like uninstalling-reinstalling the battery driver but it doesn't solve the problem....
