Hey I'm looking for a new computer to mainly do music production on and was wondering if the 2008 mac pro 8 core model would be worth it today? i would add 32 gb of ram to it and a couple of ssds and sshds for storage and boot drives. but for $400 at macsales is this a good price? thanks

decent price but I would not recommend this. Would you put an 8 year old top of the line pc on your desk for work or play..? I know I would not but you might not agree. I would be leary of hardware issues at that age.
