Have you tried several different devices on these ports?
Are the devices even powering up?
In case they are not, there could be something wrong with your MOBO. My suggestion would be to contact the manufacturer's Support.
In case the do power up, but the devices are not recognized, you can go to the laptop's manufacturer website and update your USB drivers.
