My PC has been crashing/overheating? A lot recently. I bought it a year ago and have sense upgraded to a 1000 watt PSU and way better cooling fan wise. This problem has been going on for about 3-4 months but I can now only play my games for about 20 minutes without it crashing/overheating. Me and my father have also deemed that it is NOT the GPU causing this problem as we have tried 2 different ones and the same thing happened. Here's the specs:

Case 1 x AZZA EOS 209 Gaming Case
Processor 1 x AMD FX-9590
Processor Cooling 1 x Asetek 550LC Liquid CPU Cooling System (Copper plate for best cooling performance) - Standard 120mm Fan
Memory 1 x 8 GB [4 GB x2] DDR3-1600 Memory Module [AMD] - Corsair or Major Brand
Video Card 1 x AMD Radeon R9 270 - 2GB - Single Card
Motherboard 1 x Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 -- AMD 990FX w/ 4x PCI-E 2.0 x16
Power Supply 1 x 1000 watt
Primary Hard Drive 1 x 1 TB HARD DRIVE -- 32M Cache, 7200 RPM, 6.0Gb/s - Single Drive
Optical Drive 1 x 24x Dual Layer DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW Drive - Black
3x Silent fans ( I don't know exactly what they are)

OS: Windows 10 Home

Possible Motherboard issue

Solution
first check the memory run memtest
if you think its overheating there are utilities to monitor the actual heat of individual parts.
if cpu is overheating you might have seated the heatsink wrong.
