Hi everyone, I just bought an HTC vive. It is currently in the mail its way to my house, and I realized, that my graphics card is way too terrible to be able to give good frames for the headset. I have an r7 250. It's discusting, and I need a new graphics card. I don't have any particular budget, which, of course, makes you automatically think, 980 ti of course, but I also want to have SOME money as I would obviously like to actually have some money left over to buy games on my Vive. I'm hoping to not spend more than $600, but I'm willing to pay pretty much anything as long as it's a good experience on the headset. I'd also like to note that I'm not on Nvidia or AMD's side on this one, so either will work.

Well, the htc vive list the gtx 970 or 290 as the optimal gpu. With the launch of the 1070, you get that card for $380 if you can afford that or just get a 970 for cheaper as the price should fall on the older card.
