I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what is wrong with my PC lately. I've recently installed a GTX 970 in my PC and it was working fine for a few months. Then immediately after moving into a new home it just.. borked. I don't how to put it. Every time I tried to run a game it would rock a solid 7 fps and any game would be unrenderable for a few games I would get an error saying something along the lines of "your driver does not support alpha blending which is required to run this game. Exiting.." when previously it had run perfectly with the same rig.
I know what you may be thinking, update your drivers. I tried this, but I get the infamous blue screen with the error message "driver_irql_not_less_or_equal" I've looked up that error on google and it tells me to uninstall my drivers in safe mode which hasn't worked either...
One last thing I should probably add is really weird stuff has worked as a temporary fix. Like installing a really old driver or literally just removing my graphics card from my tower and putting it back in. These things only fix things for a few days though and then things go back to how I previously described.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
