I recently bought a GTX 580, which requires a 600w PSU, as suggested by NVIDIA.

Is it safe to use my Sharkoon Silent Storm 560w PSU?

Will work, just not entirely safe. Sharkoon is a poor PSU maker, and on top of that the wattage is a bit low. As said, will work, but if you have issues with BSODs or various image malfunctions, you know what the cause is.
