Graphics Card - No Display Through Card Or Integrated

Hello! Yesterday I built my first PC, and I ran into a problem. When I have my graphics card plugged into my motherboard, I am unable to receive any video output from either the integrated graphics or the graphics card. I plugged in my monitor to the graphics card and the motherboard to see if it worked, and it worked on neither. I also am certain it is not the monitor that is at fault as I have tried 2 different ones. When I do not have the graphics card plugged in, the integrated graphics work fine.

I do not have windows installed yet as I do not want to risk the problem being in the motherboard by chance, and then basically throwing away that license, so uninstalling drivers is not an option unfortunately.

Also, the GPU fans and LEDS work so I am pretty sure that it is getting sufficient power.

Motherboard: MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition

Graphics Card: ASUS GeForce GTX 970 Turbo 4gb

If anyone could help thay would be great! If I don't get it fixed by tomorrow I am taking it to the place I bought the parts to see if they can get it fixed. (Fry's Electronics)

I have already reseated and checked to make sure all cables were plugged in correctly. I have 2 PCIe slots and I have tried it on both, same result, no display through graphics card or integrated graphics.

Well, I am just going to take it to Fry's then, they have a tech team, and I was planning on going their to have them check what is wrong. If there are any other possible solutions people have that would be great.
