Hi there, it's my first time here. Here's my problem..

I have an Adata USB which is refusing to be recognized or opened by 3 different computers. The name of the USB comes up as "Removable Disk (F: )" however the original name is "ADATA UFD (F: )".

Once I plug my USB into the port, occasionally it does appear on My Computer, and when it does it takes extremely long to open the disk. The green bar at the top of the explorer reaches the end after some time and it just stops there. When I right-click the disk to open it then Window's explorer fails to respond.

In this this instance all my opened programs stop working until I pull the USB out or the computer solves the problem after a long period. I even tried it on 2 other computers and got the same result whereas other flash drives worked perfectly fine. I have important information stored in this USB which I cant lose. I would really appreciate it if anyone has any suggestions and a possible solution.

Thank in advance!

Solution
check whether it is visible in disk management...
if it is...then u have to recover the data...

this is one of the best softwares out there... http://www.m3datarecovery.com/
but you need to get hold of the full version...

this is a step by step instruction... http://www.m3datarecovery.com/data-recovery/online-help...

the method you should be looking for is..."How to recover deleted or lost partition?"....
it is towards the middle of the instruction page...
