I have an ASRock 945GCM-S MB and an Intel Pentium 4 3.00 GHz CPU. Can I assume that either the MB or the CPU have an on-board graphics, and if one of them has this feature, how does it stack against Intel HD graphics 4600?

There are huge differences, did you compare them? The P4 video is about 2.5 times slower. Just because they are both ranked 2 does not matter, one is still much faster than the other. It's like comparing a snail to a worm to a rabbit. To a...

Intel HD graphics 4600 will be light-years faster than the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950.

the GMA 950 was really slow when it was introduced, a decade ago. you will be able to run some 2D stuff and that's it. most 3D games will be out of reach of it, including the ones released a decade ago.

There are huge differences, did you compare them? The P4 video is about 2.5 times slower. Just because they are both ranked 2 does not matter, one is still much faster than the other. It's like comparing a snail to a worm to a rabbit. To a rabbit they are both super slow so can be pretty much both be 0 speed, but to a snail the worm is much faster.

I appreciate your help , but what I was comparing was the speed of the on-board graphics integrated in the motherboard to that of the latest Haswell. The board has integrated graphics, Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950, not the CPU.

That's what that listing was, the video speed not CPU performance.
