Hi, I'm relatively new to this whole upgrading components in my Pc. My pc is an advent which has an i5 processor 8gb ddr 3 ram.

I have just bought a Gtx 960 and saw online it's minimum power supply was 400W, my PSU is only 450W.

Was just wondering will this PSU be sufficient in running my new graphics card with no worries about damaging anything in the computer?

Cheers

then I wouldn't trust it, you may want to invest in getting yourself a good PSU as to not cause possible hard to the rest of your computer. unnamed brands of PSU's usually have bad capacitors which can lead to bad things for your rig in the long run. for low power computers like yours look at brands like Superflower, XTX or Seasonic they are usually pretty cheap and these brands are some of the best out there. look for power around the 430-500W mark and they will see you fine.

For now you could use your PSU if it has the power adaptor if your GPU needs one, but honestly if It was me I wouldn't take the risk.
