Fractal Node 202 HTPC / Gaming Build Questions

I'm building a Node 202 for living room HTPC and streaming 4K video. This will also be my gaming rig. I'm leaning towards this config with a 6TB WD My Cloud NAS for my Plex server:

I also plan on adding a GTX 1070 when it's available.

Questions:
- Is the 450W included PSU enough to support all of this plus the 1070?

- Is i7 6700K overkill? I don't plan on doing any overclocking.

Solution
I wouldn't go with a K series or the accompanying Z series motherboard. If you're not interested in OCing there is no point in paying the extra money. And if you are interested then a small case like the Node will present a very low thermal barrier which limits any potential OCing.

Anyways going off your start I'd do this instead. You could drop down to an i5 if you wanted to, i7 adds very little to nothing to games and no difference between the two in regards to playing 4k video. You'd be cutting it very close with the prebuilt PSU, you can buy the case without one though and supply your own. A 600w should be more than enough to cover a 1070 or 1080 in the future.

One side note I hate those WD NAS units. I think their cheap...

Any suggestions on what PSU to get for the 202?

Since you would be needing PSU and case, you may want to consider a silverstone Silverstone RVZ01B, with a 600w Silverstone SFX PSU. The 500w version may work, as well. I have not yet seen PSU requirements, for Pascal.

just preference in cases really. I think the Silverstone is slightly smaller overall if that matters but otherwise its just personal preference. Their other other Silverstone cases since they specialize in HTPC stuff some can fit GPUs but will be larger than the two cases were talking about and some don't but are smaller than the cases we're talking about.

I didn't see they sold the case, without the PSU. My suggestion was mainly on price of the case you originally had linked. The silverstone case was $50 cheaper, than the fractal with psu. As they do offer a non psu included case, whichever you want should be fine. The silverstone case I like more, since it has a slot for a slim optical drive. I don't like external drives.

Just wanted to let you know that I went with this configuration with an i5 6600 instead of the i7 and I spent the extra cash on this NAS:

Many many thanks!!
