I'm not sure what's confusing you?

Your APU supports multiple monitors, but you're limited by what your board can support.

Your board has HDMI & DVI, so can support dual-monitors (also D-SUB, but that's rarely used these days).

What monitor inputs do you have available?

Generally speaking ,you can't support more than a single monitor per output (so 1x HDMI and 1x DVI). "Splitters" existing for 1x DVI to 2x DVI but that only allows you to mirror the monitors, no operate independently.

Depending on the monitor inputs you plan to use, there's a good chance there's a cheap GPU available that will support 3 monitors (usually HDMI, DVI & DisplayPort)

Something like the GT 710 has 2x DVI + 1x MiniHDMI (so a cable would be needed) for...

An HD6450 supports 2x DVI + 1xHDMI for around $50
