Hello, i have 1 client that wants 3 GTX 980 TI with Nvidia Quadro K6000.

I need to know if 1600 Watts power supply can handle that.

Thanks.

You are very welcome. It's only my opinion, but I know their rig will be fine with one graphics card. We work on 4K film that have resolutions much higher than people even know are possible. And that Quadro K6000 works beautifully with two monitors.

As a general rule of thumb, a PC should only have ONE graphics card. Adding multiple cards can cause issues down the road and lead to further problems with power, etc. PC's that have multiple graphics cards are custom setups that require other preparations.

However, I work for a VFX studio and we utilize the NVIDIA Quadro K6000 units, and they do a great job by themselves with work even up to 4K. If all you're doing video wise is animation, they will be fine with just this one card.

For me that vcard is enough for their studio requirements.

But they specific tell me that want 4 way server motherboard.

i think that 1600 watts cant handle that. But if they want other card 1 Titan X can work fine with Quadro?

If that's what they want, yes, I think 1600W should be enough. Be careful in planning this out and make sure that rig has PLENTY of air flowing through it. With those many graphics cards inside, it will get very, very hot.
