So I have an fx 8320E with the stock cooler and a Gigabyte GA-78LMT motherboard. So without getting a cooler how high can I oc this chip from the clock speed of 3.2Ghz? And help is appreciated ty :)

Unfortunately this MB has the chipset 760G which is not recommended for the FX Series (although is is sell like it it support FX up to 125W)

A better and optimum choice would be MB with 970 chipsets.

Disable Turbo mode and start increasing the CPU multiplier. The board is not designed for very good OC'ing potential, so don't get your hopes up. And the stock cooler will not allow for much temp headroom. When you see the CPU core temps reaching 62C, you're done OC'ing until you get a real cooler.

Ok so if I got like a 212 Evo soon how high could I get the CPU up to? And how do I show temps? Also 62C in idle or under load?

We are always talking load temps when we talk OC temps. The 212 EVO (properly mounted) should allow you to get that CPU to its max OC on that board. I have no way of knowing what your OC will be. Even if I had that same board, CPU, and cooler, the outcome would probably be different. Your OC'ing experience will also play a role. I suspect you can get over 4GHz with that cooler. Maybe more if you want to raise the vcore.
