Should I install both Realtek Audio Drivers and Logitech Gaming Software?

I have the Logitech G430 gaming headset and use only them for audio with USB with Logitech Gaming Software installed. Should I install the realtek audio drivers from my laptop manufacturer's site for the onboard audio card as well, or is that unecessary?

You will probably need both. I've had compatibility issues with not having realtek drivers on win 7 when I used only headphones for a bit. Better safe than sorry

Ok, I'll give it a try, the reason I didn't install it up to now is because Logitech Gaming Software already makes the boot time considerably slower and now with the Realtek Driver it will be even slower than before, but as you said, better safe than sorry.

The Realtek driver has minimal impact on startup, atleast from the god-knoows how many PCs I've used... As far as the Logitech stuff, you can put that on a delayed start up or make it so it only starts up when you open the executable
