Connecting a usb header for a MOBO to a SATA port

On my MOBO I only have 3 usb ports and I have used them all up. I am looking at getting another part for my PC that would use another USB port on my motherboard. Is there a cord that I could use to convert the usb to a SATA so I could use it? Thanks!

depends on what u r trying to connect...
u can get a usb to sata converter if u are trying to connect a disk drive...something like this...

I have an MSI H97 PC MATE ATX LGA1150 Motherboard. It has 3 usb headers on it but I am useing them all for the front usb jacks and a micro card reader. I just need another usb header so I want to convert a sata port on my MOBO to a usb header.

That would do the trick but I would like to not have to split my usb port in order to have better speeds.

That's why I am having a hard time finding one... Thanks for the confirmation. I'll just split the USB header then.
