Can I move my Alienware x51 to a new case?

I was wondering if it's possible for me to move my Alienware x51 to a new case. I was wondering if it's possible to pretty much start fresh in a new case but still use the processor and RAM. I would be getting a new PSU, GPU, pretty much everything. My main concern is moving my CPU. Can I just move my CPU to a new motherboard and then just upgrade to a normal mid size tower? I am a noob when it comes to building a PC. This would be my first time. I can't seem to find many detailed videos about upgrading cases. I just want to completely move everything to a mid size tower. Will I also need to buy a new OS again? Because of how the x51 is I just wasn't sure if it would be possible considering how tiny it is. I wasn't sure if they used special small parts or anything. I would have originally just made my own PC from the start but my parents got me this a while ago and now I have realized it's time for an upgrade so I just want to completely start fresh minus the CPU and RAM.

The motherboard is a mini itx motherboard so as long as you have a case that supports mini itx you should be able to put it in another case but I am not sure if the pci-e slots will line up with a standard case if you put in a graphics card or something in the pci-e slot

Yes you can move the cpu to another computer as long as it has the standard LGA1155 cpu slot

You will not have to buy a new os if you either keep the hard drive or transfer the os to another hard drive

As far as I know the Alienware x51 didn't use any "special" parts they just used a case that could pack it all together very closely

One thing for sure is that you won't have the motherboard metal backpanel plate. The X51 has a custom-made case so they did not use a metal backplate for the motherboard. So you will end up with a gaping hole around your audio/video/usb ports in the back, unless you hack something yourself in cardboard, plasticard or whatever.
But many did it and my son is thinking about doing the same with his X51 R2.
Also you will probably lose the case lighting functions too.

If you can find the specific motherboard model you might be able to search online for an io plate to fit the motherboard

What I want to do is just get a completely new motherboard and transfer my CPU and RAM if that's possible. '=

Yes that is possible
