Do you have an "idea" or a "design"? If it's simply the idea of "it would look something like this" and "it could do this", you probably don't have much in all honesty.
If you have a true "design", descriptions of how it'll work, dimensions, prototype images of what it'll look like etc, that might be a little bit of interest to companies. It'll be difficult to get a design to any of the big companies and actually looked at - there's countless "community designs" for almost all components/peripherals all over the 'net. I'm sure some of the companies design/marketing departments creep those from time to time for 'inspiration', but actually having your design manufactured etc is highly, highly unlikely.
As far as making money from your design, you'd need to sell it to a company, or have it manufactured yourself.
I'd start by emailing companies to the most appropriate email address you can find. Don't send a design idea to "tech support" or "RMA" of course. If you can find the contact info for any 'top dog' of these companies, shoot them a polite email. You may or may not get a response. Personally, I'd keep a file copy of your sent email too - you'd hate to see XXX brand come out with your designed mouse in 5 years time & have no proof you had the idea in 2016 (even the email would be difficult to prove, but it gives you something).
Another suggestion would be to approach their Social Media platforms. If other fans see it too and register interest ('likes' on facebook etc), that might get a company remotely interested.
Ultimately, it depends on:
1. the quality & details of your design
2. the interest in your design from other potential consumers
3. the willingness of a company to listen to outside ideas.
Just realize your chances are extremely slim, regardless of how detailed your design/idea may be.
Large companies like Corsair & Razer have design departments, marketing etc all "in-house" and are unlikely to be willing to listen to an outside idea from a 'nobody' (no offence intended).
Good luck!
