SSD compatibility on Lenovo Y50-70

Solution
Yup, it seems like the drive that's in the laptop is one of our WD SSHDs, and this means that you should have no issue with connecting the SSD you're going to get for your laptop as it uses SATA interface as well (as you've mentioned). :)
Hey there, Florin pitesti98.

From what I was able to find out, this laptop model comes with an mSATA SSD, which means that you might not be able to connect a regular SATA SSD (such as the one you've mentioned). However you've mentioned that you have an HDD and if it's using regular SATA connection, you should be able to replace it with the drive you're considering. The thing is that I can't be 100% sure about it and I'd suggest that you get in touch with the laptop manufacturer's customer support for more information on what type of SSDs would be compatible with your laptop, or check the computer's User Manual for more information.

Hope that helps.
