So, my mom was cleaning my computer but she doesn´t understand a thing about this.
She turned the computer on, via the power button, and instantly after turning it on, she turned it off, via the power button, so I instantly turn it on via the power button.

She also disturbed the monitor, by increasing/decreasing its size, but I managed to fix it.

My question is, did this affect/damage my PC?

Thanks

No, it should not have damaged your pc. When you reboot your pc it'll bring you to a black screen saying something about a force shutdown, just select start up pc normally.

Her ability to enlarge and shrink objects might be worth scientific research.

The only area of concern would be the power issue. Depending on your build, the quality of the power supply and mother board - there is a slim chance that a poor quality build might be affected by this type of power surge - but it is generally improbable.

Your best bet is to unplug the power for about 5 minute (discharging the capacitors as it will), plug it in again and power it up normally.

Based on this, you then decide if you computer is damaged.

In the end. Give your mom a hug - tell her that you love her - and let her know that you will handle the fallout if something got damaged. After all - she has done the same for you for many, many years.

I told her she is dumb and that she shouldn´t damage things that aren´t hers.

If this happens once or twice it shouldn't be a problem, but if a normal house PC loses power constantly, you can damage the motherboard and another stuff as some PCs don't like to lose power for no reason.
