I just got my new computer yesterday. I turned it on and it was silent as can be. I restarted it to install updates to Windows 10 and after that, I noticed the computer had gotten louder. Today, when I started it up, I noticed it was still not as silent as it was during my first startup. I installed some hardware monitoring software and noticed that my GPU temps were at 104 degrees even though I only had VLC and Chrome up and was installing The Divison. I closed everything to see if that would help, but it didn't. I shut it down and let it cool for a bit then started it up. The idle temps were normal at about 85 degrees. I launched The Division, played for 30 minutes and rechecked. It was now at 124 degrees. Is there something wrong with 980ti or is there something wrong with my airflow? I haven't experienced any shut downs because of the heat, but it seems like it gets too hot compared to other users who reported never hitting 90 playing games on ultra settings. I'll post a picture below to see if anyone can notice anything unusual. Any ideas or tips are appreciated. Thanks.
