Hi

It will be used primarily for gaming, And I'd like to focus and base the build around a good GPU and CPU so I can get the best gaming performance for my buck.

With the £550 I need to purchase
Case
GPU
CPU (Intel i5 Please)
PSU
RAM
Motherboard
Hard Drive

Possibly a cheap optical drive, Although not necessary seeing as though I can install windows with a USB.

This £550 Includes postage and any fees that may occur.

I am UK based, So I'd prefer to purchase only from UK based Sellers/Website as buying over seas takes a bit too long and costs a little too much on postage.

Any suggestions are appreciated, Thankyou.

Something like this would be nice. Decent MB with extra x4 PCIe for expansion. Nice case. Nice CPU/GPU combination. Excellent upgrade potential.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion, Question - Just been on eBay and come across a guy selling MSI R9 280x's, BNIB for only 120.00, Would getting that be better than the R9 380?

See ; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MSI-AMD-Radeon-R9-280X-Gaming-3GB-GDDR5-Graphics-Card-DVI-HDMI-2xMiniDP-NEW-/401119957257?hash=item5d649cd109:g:cQIAAOSw1KxXNIl1

Thank you for the suggestion, But I'd like to spend the full 550 if possible, Could I throw the remaining £30 on say a better GPU upgrade?

My understanding is that they are nearly equivalent. Maybe someone else will comment about this.

If I put that R9 280x Card in the original build you suggested, Bearmann, Would be compatible / it run fine? Obviously, I could update the Motherboard, But I also wouldn't mind putting that money toward an SSD.

Yeah, I know the £20 saving wouldn't be enough alone, But I'd happily squeeze another 15-20 to pick up a cheap 120gb SSD to store my OS on and to also speed up my PC a little.

Might well pick up your build, Obviously with the R9 280x and grab an SSD too.

Thanks a lot for the help, Bearmann and Archiac.
