Hello all,
I just got done building my and new PC and boy am I in love! However, whenever I plugged my monitor, keyboard and mouse up to the backplate of the motherboard, I found out that they work to no avail. I looked at the motherboard manual to see if I missed something but It seems that I did not. Also, the DRAM LED red light is on. Im concerned that this is the main issue.

Things that I did that did not work:
-I took off the cpu fan and inspected the cpu
- I moved the 2 ram sticks over to the other slots
- Used a DVI-D cable and HDMI cable on seperate attempts on the video card

Here is a listing of my specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor

Solution

Plug the monitor in teh graphics card(if you have one), not the back plate of the MB.
Use the USB2 ports(black ones) for the Kband mouse.
