My new evga's GTX 950 came in the mail today so i plugged it in and ... nothing. "no signal" on my new monitor.

Removed the 950 and put my old gtx 560 Ti back in and ... nothing. "no signal"
The fans are spinning, and the "evga" light is now flickering. when it was solid before i put the 950 in.

Tried plugging in the 950 again and still no signal, the fans seem to be studdering, u can almost here the power to them flickering.

What the hell happened?
the psu is a corsair rn 550 so there should be enough power there.
and now that my computer wont turn on at all i cant give you my CPU specs...

Im at a complete loss. nothing works now.
mind you i only have an hdmi cable to use, nothing else.

If by that you mean it's "dead" (no power) then you're gonna have to replace the PSU anyway to make any progress with your original problem.[/quotemsg]

no, the psu is good to go. everything seems like it turns on, but it doesn't. it just sits there with the power on..
I feel like when i seat the gpu into the mb it doesn't register properly.. the "evga" light on the 560ti is 97% solid, but it does still flicker. that flickering is the problem... could it be a circuit that fried on the mother board? its seated and locked in. but its just not going anywhere. the computer doesn't boot at all. doesn't get past the "power on" stage...

corsair rm 550
a10 6800 ... ... ... cpu
windows 7.1 64
thats all i can tell ya.
