I can't turn on my PC unless I am holding down the 12 pin connector on the motherboard.
I have to push the 12 pin down and hold my power button and it starts up just fine and stays on.

Specs:
MSI 970A Sli krait motherboard
GTX 750 2GB
16GB RAM
AMD-FX 8320
650W PSU

Sorry if I posted this on the wrong place I'm new here.

Hellfire's right, the Q-Connector is loose. It is what connects your power button on your PC Case to your motherboard on switch.
See if you can buy a new Q-Connector from Amazon that matches your motherboard.
