So, I've about given up and might use the warranty on my card to get a new one.

I have no clue what the problem could be anymore, I've changed display ports, reinstalled old drivers, reinstalled new drivers, and tried many more fixes, I hope you guys can help.

The PC has been working fine when I first built it a month or so ago, but ever since some power issues it has been acting up. First, when I installed new drivers GPU-Z and NVIDIA Geforce Expierence wouldn't recognize my card, so I reinstalled the old ones and that fixed the issue. However, something odd is today I reinstalled the new drivers to see if that would fix the screen issue I'm currently having, and now for some reason GPU-Z and Geforce experience do recognize my card?? Using the same drivers I use before where it didn't recognize my card. Odd.

PC Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor

Motherboard: ASRock H97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

Memory: G.Skill Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB FTW+ ACX 2.0+ Video Card

Case: NZXT Phantom 410 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case

Power Supply: EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 OEM (64-bit)
Video Card Driver Version: 365.10, also tried with version 364.72

Only tested game is Sims 3 Max settings, averaging around 100-300fps, then seems to randomly blue screen, but with no error message.

Tested display ports: DVI to VGA, Two Different HDMI ports, Three different HDMI cords

Monitor is a 32" 1920x1080p 60hz RCA TV

BIOS is updated to most recent version, P1.90.

I do not have any other PSU to try it with, or another rig sadly.

Will make sure to try this in a little bit, though I do not think this would be the issue.

Sorry for double post, but need to post this for others to see. Many other people seem to be having the same problem and there seem to be many different solutions out there, I am about to try upgrading my GPU BIOS and see if that fixes the issue. I would really appreciate any help here, PC issues make me feel sick lol.

Here are some links showing others having the same problems and different ways to solve it.

EDIT: Just realized I can edit posts, oops. Turns out I can't update my GPU BIOS as there are none for the FTW+ edition. Great.

EDIT 2: Just went in and re inserted VGA cables, RAM, motherboard connection, and GPU. Going to go test on Sims 3 to see if it solved my problem.

EDIT 3: Geforce experience recognizes my GPU as a GTX 970, but does not recognize it for game optimization and says I need a GTX 700 or above? I don't get this.

EDIT 4: While looking around my PC I discovered something, my MOBO HDMI port had a metal prong in it from the IO shield! This could explain the power issues I was having earlier as well. I tried to plug in a HDMI cord into it but it gave me a "Windows could not start up" error, so I'm assuming that port is done for. I also reinstalled all drivers as cleanly as possible, even uninstalling Geforce experience. HOPEFULLY this fixes the issue or I may have to get a new graphics card.

EDIT 5: After not being able to play audio I had to reinstall the drivers again. However, it wouldn't let me. So I just reinstalled my OS. If all this stuff I've done doesn't fix the issue nothing will.
