Hello all "from Australia (Down Under ;)"

I have in my possession the following APUs and the following GPUs

AMD A10 5800k
AMD 6800k
Gigabyte R9 270 2gb OC
GTX 750 Ti 2gb OC

I wish to know which APU is best suited to "which" GPU

Thanks

(note I have 2 mobos suited for each APU one has small OC capabilities and one has even smaller OC capabilities. Both mobos are not really gaming boards, but do have the option for a small OC)

There's really not much difference. You can't use the integrated graphics in (hybrid) Crossfire with the R9 270 anyway, so they're effectively just two Piledriver quad cores. The 6800K has slightly higher stock clocks, and a better memory controller, but that's hardly going to make a big difference with a dedicated graphics card.

I suppose, if I had to choose, I'd pair the 6800K with the R9 270 because AMD has a bit more driver overhead, so the slightly higher CPU clocks could balance that out.

The apu's are pretty much the same performance wise. Get one more decent gpu then you are good i would say the 750 ti is underpowered for gaming in 2016. The r9 270 is still decent but something like a hd 7970/r9 280x would do really well with your builds.
