i7 4790K (How good is it with gaming and motion graphics work)

So recently I was looking at Ebay and seen the i7 4790K for 300 Euro including shipping and everything. Everywhere else it was about 50-70 Euro more and I was going to go with the Xeon e3-1231 v3 on Amazon which came out to be 300 euro and only 20 Euro less on Ebay than the i7 that i brought and it is brand new and an unused item so I decided to pick it up.

So im interested in doing alot of gaming and motion graphics so will the CPU serve me well for a very long time ?

You will see a huge increase in performance then :) but Hyper 103 might not be enough .. still I would try it first but if you will struggle (temps above 75 degree on full load) I would upgrade to phanteks ph-tc14pe or some huge water cooling.

Just as reference on ph-tc14pe you should get about 60 degree on full load.

Im not planning on overclocking much probably just the turbo clock of 4.4Ghz

Then you should be fine .. at any rate i7 4790k is the way to go in your case.
