When I turn on my computer it beeps 1 long beep then 3 short beeps

if u have integrated graphics capability with ur cpu, connect ur monitor to ur mobo video out...if u get display, thn u can discount the dedicated gpu...
dont forget to change the display setting from bios...
also, if its a video card issue...the computer will post with one short beep as soon as u remove it...
