What graphics card is better

I was looking at building a gaming pc my build looks like http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/6VvYP6
But was thinking of changing video card to https://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-gtx980gaming4g just want to know if it's worth it

The 980 is definitely better than the 970. But wait a bit longer for the 1070 and 1080

The 980 over the 970 will have little performance improvement. Wait for the GTX 1080/1070 to come out. It will be a more sensible upgrade

The release of the 980 Ti made the 980 irrelevant. nVidia intentionally crippled the performance of the 970 by lowering its throttling point to 80C where the other more powerful cards are at 85C. About 2 weeks before the 1080 comes out the 980 Ti will be a great buy. The 970 (or even 2 of them) remain a great buy..... it's the most successful GFX card ever released.
