Ok, so I have two R9 270Xs laying around in my house while I'm currently using a R9 380. I just thought to myself: Would crossfire/dual 270x outperform the 380? I have no clue whatsoever on this type of thing as I've only ever had 1 GPU. Can anyone please provide some helpful information and possibly tell me how much FPS difference we're talking here. Thanks!

Also, what's a good pick of a MOBO and PSU if I were to have this build with my current FX 8320... oh, what about bottlenecking...

Solution
No bottlenecking will occur, I think that the 270x's will out perform the 380, make sure mobo can do crossfire. Sell whichever you don't use and buy either pascal or polaris when it comes out.

it would beat it out noticeably in games where crossfire is supported. however, in games where crossfire is not supported it will just be a R9 270X. but remember with more GPUs comes more problems. in some cases there could be microstutter, and frame rates might vary a fair amount. You would want around a 750 watt PSU which would leave some headroom. that CPU is fine even with a 970 or 980.
