Hello,
I have installed a new PSU (Corsair CS550M) to my PC. After that PC won't boot. There is no POST beep. It starts for ~half a second and turns off, then tries again and turns off again a few times. At starting and shutting PSU makes a clicking noise. When it stops trying to load up the power button won't power on the system. If PSU is unplugged after some time you can try again to start PC but with the same results. Old PSU works fine with this PC. New PSU works fine with two other PCs. PSU voltages are fine when measuring with the paper clip method. Have tried removing GPU, all but one ram stick, HDD's, power jumpers on mobo, removing battery - nothing helped.
When new PSU is plugged off after trying to load up PC and using paper clip method, the shorting of green and black wires make the PSU to click (same as when starting up PC), PSU also clicks when putting in the 24-pin to the mobo (PSU plugged off after attempts to load PC).
Mobo - IPMTB-GS CPU - i7 960 Old PSU - FSP400-60EMDN
Plz help :) I'm out of ideas...Don't want to dig in to the two digit google pages...

Update. Have tried an old (like 10+ years old with capacitors ready to blow up, 350W) PSU on my rig and it started just fine.

no LEDs no nothing. Just a simple PC.

This PSU worked on my old PC (P4 smth) and at the warranty office (They have already denied my complaints about it being faulty). I thought I wasn't buying the cheapest already...

You might be right. However warranty has already denied it as being faulty since it works on other PCs. So I'll have to do something with this one.
