Hi there, iv been reading this forum about milion different things and i always find an answer. Now
instead of searching for posts ill just ask you. Im thinking if youre kind enough to answer to others why not to me too ? :D

Alright so...im on a tight budget, so ill list my parts in list and my question is
"Can my PSU handle this?"

CPU = i3 6100
MB = GIGABYTE GA-H170-Gaming 3
RAM = Kingston HyperXSavage 2x4gb 2400MHz
SSD = 240GB Sandisk plus
GPU = R9 380x G1 GAMING 4GB

the thing who i think will screw everything up (ill copy paste the whole thing in here)

Powersupply 550W, CORSAIR VS series VS550 CP-9020097-EU, ATX, 120mm vent.

cheers!

A basic (not junk) 650W psu should work just fine. Something like a CM G650M or even a Corsair VS650 should get the job done. Many people insist that you should never get a budget psu, but seeing you are one a budget and your parts aren't too demanding (apart from the gpu), a simple 80 plus bronze supply is a excellent choice!

550W should only be just enough for that build. However, I've heard that the VS550 isn't a very good psu and therefore I wouldn't recommend using it for a r9 380x. Either a "basic" 650W psu or a high quality 550W psu are more suitable. Since you've already got this psu (?), it might be a good idea to get a nvidia gpu since they are more energy efficient and even a gtx 970 will run on that psu.

oh God! i feel like a fool for not saying that. i didnt buy any part yet. so i can kind of change everything. i like the gtx970, but in my country its cca 100$ more than r9 380x so i cant afford it. Not a good psu? :D thats why im asking will it work cause sadly the only place i can safe money is on psu. so, cheap 650W should work fine?
