Do all amd cooler fit on all amd cpu's

As title says. I am upgrading my cooler cause my current one is crap. but im planning on upgrading my grpahics card to a higher amd cpu in the future. Will the cooler i buy now fit on any cpu's i buy in the future, or do i just have to wait and buy a suitable cooler then based on the chip i buy?

Heat sink makers always include hardware for AMD or Intel systems so that they will work on either one, if they don't they will say so. As the socket size and mounting mechanism has not changed for a while nor is it expected to, getting something like a hyper 212 evo should fit on any AMD chips that come out. there has been nothing to indicate that the new Zen series and its AM4 boards will have radically different mounting mechanisms.

so then any amd cpu chip i buy should work with the new cooler?
