thank you

Solution

Don't confuse your self nvidia said you can use 2 different manufacturers not 2 different cards
for example PALIT 660gtx and Gigabyte 660gtx
Im sorry but this will not work for you my answer is 100% accurate

Im sorry to bring you bad news but i repeat you cannot add 2 different gpus in SLI
the videos you seen are 2 video cards in one pc not SLI tho

You can use 2 gpus in one pc if you want to use it for example with another monitor but with SLI no
i'm sorry

with amd gpus they are abit more flexible on what works with what. however nvidia needs to have exactly the same card. you can have them both in the computer however they will not work together you can have one run 1 monitor and the other run a diff monitor
