Can I do a little overclock on my 7700k iGPU with stock cooler?

My psu is a EVGA 500W, and I'm planning to get a hyper 212 evo+ in the future. But for now, I'm wondering if I can do something with the stock cooler. Thanks in advance!

Either or. If you do it in BIOS it will start like that when you turn on your PC. If you do it in AMD OverDrive it will start when the computer runs AMD OverDrive. Plus if you do it in overdrive and you accidently overclock it too...

Depends what your stock cooler is. You'd be surprised, sometimes a stock cooler can do a really good job.

Did you build your computer? Or is it a computer you bought off the rack?

Its an apu a10 7700k with 16gb ram at 1600 and I'm currently using the integrated graphics, which I want to overclock.

The stock cooler that comes with it you can push a little bit, keep an eye on your APU's temperature, make sure you don't go over 70c. Yeah the limit is probably 80 or 90 before it will shut down, but at those temperatures you dramatically reduce the life of your APU.

Alright, should I overclock from the BIOS or AMD OverDrive is fine?

Either or. If you do it in BIOS it will start like that when you turn on your PC. If you do it in AMD OverDrive it will start when the computer runs AMD OverDrive. Plus if you do it in overdrive and you accidently overclock it too much, then it will keep crashing your computer when the overdrive initializes.

So you are saying that OverDrive if safer than BIOS?

Actually BIOS is safer.
