Every time I try to update my Video Card Drivers (currently running the MSI 980 TI Gaming 6G) it starts the install, then goes to a black screen and just stays on that until I shut the computer down by holding down the button or cutting power. Driver never updates, just gets stuck on a black screen. >_>

Help?

1. Go here and punch in your GPU model and OS version, then download the correct driver. Do not start to install it yet.
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx

2. Uninstall Nvidia Driver and All Nvidia Software in the Control Panel > Uninstall Programs then restart your PC.

3. Install the driver you downloaded. When it comes up, select the custom installation, select everything and tick the "clean installation" option.

If this doesn't fix the problem, it could be a registry, OS, or hardware issue that would require more diagnosis.

Okay I fixed the problem somehow by just ripping the cords out of the video card and plugging in an HDMI from one monitor to the video card *(I use three monitors)* NOW I have a whole new problem, when setting up Bezel Adjustments for NVIDIA Surround, whenever I click apply, just sends me to a black screen again, and stays there until I force shut down the PC, any fixes for this one?!
