Hello everyone.
I am working with special effects and graphics in such programs
like After Effects and 3DSmax.
So i need a system that will hold up this things pretty well.
And the reason of this post is to ask about the build that i am going to buy.
Is it balanced and mabye what would i better change in it
for the future update to an i7 6950X and new titan on Pascal?

I'll explain my choce.

Motherboard - ASUS SABERTOOTH X99 (all boards on the x99 chipset are overall awesome but this one is great because of this full cover and backplate. Those provide extra cooling/reinforcement/dust proofing).

Cpu - i7 5820K (it is not the top one at the moment but if I took 5960X then upgrade to 6950X would be almost pointless in the future).

Ram - 32 gb of corsair dominator platinum 2400 MHz (actually dunno what else to get, there are certainly better choices i am not aware of :D).

SSD - intel PCI-e P3600 series 800 GB (This super fast SSD will provide faster reading and writing when rendering projects).

HDD - WD black 4 TB (just to store footage etc.).

GPU - EVGA titan X (i thought about an sli, but again not sure if it does worth it because any way I will need to sell that to get new titan on Pascal :D)

PSU - fractal design newton R3 white 1000 W (again a am not aware of PSU's but this one is white and from good brand and fits the theme)

Case - NZXT H440 white (i like it and it is the good quality one IMO)

Cooling - NZXT x61 kraken - (fits the theme and it is liquid cooling :D)

That's it.

Feel free to correct me if i am wrong and suggest things that you thing will fit in here.
You are welcome!
Thanks!

P.S. sorry for my english :)

Solution

Wait just a little bit for the gtx 1080 it will be better than a gtx titan and cheaper plus it now has all the features the titan had and most of the features the qaudro's have. Also why not just go for a xeon? I mean Max LOVES cores so why wait for the 6950x or such if you can just get a whatever you want xeon whit like 10+ cores. The money you save on the GPU by going gtx 1080 can be spend towards the CPU.

well i thought about xeon. But After Effects needs clock speeds too as far as i know. As for particular model what can you suggest?

As for GPU i mentioned that i am gonna to upgrade to a new titan that is coming later this year. Yeah i think it would be better to wait for a 1080.

With the launch of the 1080 the Titan series will probably no longer be off any use. All the extra features the titan series had are gone with the gtx 1000 series. And as for a xeon maybe just go with a 6950x it seems like the best option as off now. I would personally just wait a bit before buying a new computer because now is like the worst time. Everything new is launching and that means that the old stuff will get cheaper because better stuff is on the market.

Actually i was going to upgrade to latest cpu and gpu when they come out and sell ''old'ish'' ones that are in this build. But it seems to be a better option to just wait and get everything new :D
