Hey guys, so i have a MB Asus P8H67-V and a Intel Core i5 2310 4x 2.9Ghz with boost to 3.20ghz, i was looking in my Bios, and there was this mode called "Asus optimal mode" i select it, and now my CPU is at 3100mhz instead of the standard 2900mhz, but my voltage and temps are normal, so should i assume that it's safe to leave it at 3100mhz?

Yes, it is safe. In fact, it can probably go way more, as long as the temps and voltage are stable.

It's safe, don't remember for sure but I think it run 2 cores at the'optimal' instead of all 4, and contrary to the above as a locked BIOS, no it won't go 'way more'
