This issue started today, I was cleaning out my front fan(not connected to motherboard). Once I was done with that I tried turning the PC back on and it wouldn't boot so I pushed in the 24 pin and it turned on. Now whenever I move the case the system turns off and won't turn back on until I push the 24 pin back in?
Any suggestions?
Specs:
CPU: Core i3 6100
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H110M-A Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
RAM: Crucial 16GB DDR4-2133 Memory
PSU: EVGA 430 Watt
Case: Corsair 200R

Solution

It's quite possible. If the 24-pin is fine, that's the only other thing it could be. It might just be a short or damaged wire, which would explain why pressing on the cable fixes it. Either way, replacement is probably the best thing to do.

Is the 24-pin pushed in until it clicks? There should be a little lock on it to stop it from becoming disconnected.

If for whatever reason your PSU doesn't have a locking tab on it you could try using tape or, depending how permanent this build is, you could resort to hot glue or epoxy.

It is, that's something I made sure to check. It's possible that the psu might be starting to go.

That's what I was planning on doing in the future anyways with upgrades. It's totally fixed now, it's weird.

Yeah, that is weird. I've never encountered something like that before, but I'm glad it worked out for you.
