Hello , i found a free pc at work and i would like to take it home BUT : i can't find the answer to this :
-if the cpu is at 2.7 gh in single core will it divide the gh's between the first core and the one i will enable?
-both cores will be at 1350 each or will both cores be at 2700 mh's each?

Solution
No. If you are able to unlock the 2nd core, it will run at the same speed as the first core. But wattage will increase accordingly. It will then be a dual core instead of a single core. Semprons are Athlon II x2s with one core disabled.
