Graphics went out on an HP p6510y desktop computer. I bought a new graphics card but it still doesn't work. I tried it in another computer and it does work there. Do I need to disable the onboard graphics? And if so how do I do that? I can't get into the bios because I can't see anything on the monitor. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks for the suggestions Calvin7. The other computer that I tried the card in also has a 250 watt power supply and it worked in that one. The battery is also good.

The graphics card I got is the EVGA GeForce 210 DirectX 10.1 01G-P3-1313-KR 1GB 64-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card.

With the gpu in, does it output from the monitor? If not then the pcie slot on the mobo is probably bad or you have some bent cpu pins. There really isn't much else since you know the gpu is fine and psu is fine and everything else is fine. If it does output, just go into bios and switch then.
