im building my first pc and i need to know the pros and cons of these two cases compared to my build. the cases are the Corsair Graphite Series 230T Orange ATX Mid Tower Case and the NZXT S340 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case.

My build is

CPU:
Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor

CPU Cooler:
Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Motherboard:
MSI Z97-GAMING 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

Memory:
Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory

Storage:
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Video Card:
MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V Video Card

Power Supply:
EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

I am open to all suggestions but as i said i would love to know the pros and cons of the cases with this build.

Do you like orange? Do you like white? I prefer orange to white. My son has that same Corsair case in black with red lights. I use an NZXT Phantom 410, and really like it. However I don't see any front bays on that NZXT S340, is that a deal breaker for you? Will either fit your CPU cooler? Might want to hold off on the 970 GPU for a few weeks until you see the specs/price on the GTX 1070, it should be around $380

The G Skill Ripjaws X Series are better RAM sticks than the Kingston. https://pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f317000cl9d8gbxm

I agree. The Phanteks are on my radar for a future build. I really think a good case and a Tier 1 PSU are essential for a new build.

The Specifications at that link are:
Max Graphics Length Supported
395 mm / 15.2 in
280 mm / 11.0 in Optional HDD brackets installed

That card fits.

Will i have to worry about say my coolant not fitting? or is the GPU usually the only big concern for most people?

No, you won't have to worry, the area behind the front panel is designed to fit a liquid cooler up to 360 mm (14 inches)

Here's a link to cases compatible with that cooler, the Phanteks Eclipse is on that list.
