What do you guys think are my best options for the components I have right now?

Also, is my case big enough to fit the 970? PC Part Picker is saying the GPU might block some of my drive bays.

Blocking a drive bay isn't a big deal unless your rig is full of drives, so the GTX 970 shouldn't be a problem. Included one of the better air CPU coolers which should clear the tall RAM. The PSU is a Tier one and more than enough for your build.
