Hey guys hows it going.

I just got a 2nd Hard drive for extra storage because I have a 120GB SSD for my boot drive.

The problem is, after I installed the HDD my computer is simply not booting up. Here's the full story.

I received the HDD, installed it on my PC. Turned my computer on, it booted just fine. But when I tried assigning the HDD a letter, I received error messages saying "format did not complete successfully". I tried assigning the HDD a few times after that but failed to do so.
After this I had some business outside so I went out, came back a couple hours later and turned on my computer, but this time it failed to boot at all.
When I turn on my computer I see the ASUS logo, and it just stays there.
My PC boots just fine when I remove the HDD.

Excuse my poor English, I've just started learning the language ;)

Any solutions?

Here's my PC specs if you need it

I already tried that but my ssd was the priority boot drive already, and my hdd was not listed on the bios.

Yup, also having the same problem. I tried booting the computer with only the HDD just to see what happens, and I got a error message saying that the file type of the drive is not supported, and that I have to change settings on the bios. I did what the message told me but I still had the same problem, so now I'm guessing that the HDD is in fact in gpt format, but something went wrong in the formatting process and is what "the format did not complete successfully" error was about.

Is there a way to format the hard disk though bios?
